Every year since 2008, Bodegas Simbolo aim to spread its oenological passion through a Regional Wine Tasting Competition. This competition counts with the collaboration of a large list of followers and sponsors which make of this event a success for its last XIX Edition in 2016: experts in wine tasting; wine lovers from all over the county; Campo de Criptana City Hall; the Appellation of Origin La Mancha, appellation which back up many of the partners´ vineyards and the quality of the cellar´s wines; and  DCOOP BACO group which commercializes the cellar´s bulk wines; among others.

The event takes place during August local fest of Campo de Criptana, location of the cellar´s headquarters and facilities. This event completes the cultural program developed from the City hall for that week.

The competition is celebrated every year at 11 am at Casino Primitivo, located in the main square of Campo de Criptana, next to the City Hall and the main church.

The event is open for all publics. All assistants may come as observers and the will be accommodated around the participants of the Wine tasting Competition in a first- served basis.

Right after the end of the competition, Bodegas Simbolo together with the other local cellars offer an opened wine tasting for all assitants and participants.
